Up to June 2008, Kurnik has been a major site for playing Hex online. Then, Hex has been abandoned due to "low interest".
In December 2017, Hex has returned with board sizes of 11x11, 13x13, 14x14 and 19x19.
Kurnik is known as PlayOK for non-Polish language users.
